the Temple of the Great Mother Goddess/temple scribe

she was born her parents though she was a mage as the things around her crib were constantly floating. Unfortunately it turned
that one of her cousins was the mage and not Avery.

Height 5’0” Weight: 100lb Build: Thanks to the war she was for quite a while malnourished though she
is recovering Eye Color: Hazel Hair Color: Dark brown; curly and mid-back length though it is normally braided Distinguishing

A rather shapeless dress, full skirt long sleeves and a patch sewn on the front to signify that she is a priestess-in-training.
Strengths: Avery can read/write. Avery is currently using her spare time to write a book about Corus. She also have basic
skills with a knife, nothing fancy just some maneuvers that her brother thought she ought to learn so she can defend herself.
She is a hard worker and gets along well with most people
Weaknesses: She is blind to the faults of other people (and
herself) She does not believe bad of anyone and this often gets her into trouble. She would (and has) wandered down a dark
alley with a perfect stranger. Her brother is constantly saving her from various predicaments.
Personality: Almost
criminally happy and cheerful. She never sees the bad or dangerous side of anything. (Obviously there are some exceptions
to this, she wouldn't go sit down and chat with a man carrying a bloody knife. She would however see nothing wrong with talking
to the cloaked, brooding man in a corner) She has rarely gotten mad her life. However the few times she has her outburst have
been severe. For example, when she was 12 her eldest brother cut off her hair when she was sleeping. When she awoke to find
her hair gone she flew into a rage and managed to break his arm with a cooking pot. She also dislikes people who question
her closely, it makes her uncomfortable.
History: Avery lived on a small farm on the Scanra boarder until the war.
Her family raised ponies as the growing season for crops is short and unpredictable. Her farm was one of the first attacked
when the war started. Avery’s eldest brother and sister both died and the rest of her family fled to a refugee camp.
Her twin brother, Tristan, decided to move to Corus in hopes of finding a job. Avery’s parents decided that she should
go with her brother and join the priestesses of the Great Mother Goddess, partially as punishment for her love of writing
which her family considers foolish.
What is your character most ashamed of? For most of her life Avery has been ashamed
of her interest in writing. Her parents told her it was a useless skill and that she ought to learn more practical things
such as weaving. When they found that the one thing she had rescued from their farm was a book of (not very good) blank parchment
they sent her to the temple in hopes of ‘curing’ her of this strange love. She now writes in secret though she
does do scribe work for the temple
What makes your character unique? Her talent for writing.
Why is your character
coming to the Inn? Her brother often works at night. Lonely Avery wanders to the Inn in search of company and in search of
a inspiration for the book she is writing.
